Captain Fantastic Pinball Machine

Inspired by the figure portrayed by Elton John in the film “Tommy,” the Captain Fantastic pinball table is well-known for its amazing artwork. But the artwork was also noteworthy for another, more contentious reason: in his design for the back glass, artist Dave Christensen portrayed a number of characters partaking in obscene actions. Early iterations of the table were published without censorship since the Bally administration first failed to discover his X-rated changes.
